Mitko Group

Mitko commenced operations in May 2006, under the leadership of Mr. Muditha Peiris as the Founder and celebrated 10 years of successful operations in May 2016. Within a short span, Mitko Group has emerged as a dynamic entity, with 5 fully owned subsidiaries in multiple sectors. These subsidiaries, Mitko International,  Mitko Skyswitch, Mitko Homes, Mitko Homes Australia and  Mitko Trading operate with their own CEOs / COO’s as separate profit-centers under the purview of the group CEO/Executive Director. The latest entity which is Mitko Gateway Abroad is headed by a CEO and operates under the direct supervision of the Group CEO /ED.  All Entities are continuing to grow as a strong and vibrant group of companies with a closely knit team of top managers.

Mitko International

As the first subsidiary to come alive under the group umbrella in 2006, Mitko International has proven to be one of the most successful ventures of the group. What began as an ambition engineered towards metal mining, Mitko International presently owns 25-acres of mining land in Kotadeniyawa and Meerigama, located approximately 60 km from Colombo and holds a production capacity that exceeds 200MT of crushed limestone in various sizes, armour rocks and spalls.

Mitko Constructions

With Mitko International’s breakthrough and favourable outcome, as well as the advantageous positioning in the country’s development agenda, the group laid the foundation to Mitko Constructions in 2007. With its primary focus on infrastructure development, the company was established with the industry experienced garnered during previous ventures and entrepreneurial foresight. Mitko Construction is currently ICTAD registered with a C5 ranking. What began as a modest operation in 2007, Mitko Construction today is involved in the construction of buildings, highways and bridges in addition to water supply and drainage, irrigation and land drainage, dredging and reclamation and has gone on to complete projects worth over LKR 1,000 million.

Mitko Trading

With strong networks in Asia, Australia Europe and USA, Mitko Trading (MTL) was formed in 2014 to provide trading and commercial support to a base of customers. The company front-ends customers as their representatives in negotiations with suppliers of various products and services, negotiating agreements, undertaking market research in addition to supplying of human resources, management consulting in HR development and technical aspects and contract management of enterprises. Mitko Family Health Care (FHC), which came into being in July 2015 is a clearly differentiated business from Mitko’s traditional business of mining, civil engineering and ICT which currently operates under Mitko Trading. It is the group’s ‘social-biz’ entity, a unique blend social services and business but operating on commercial norms.

Mitko Skyswitch

Set up in 2015, Mitko Skyswitch was formed as the successor to Omega Technologies Pvt Ltd. and is the local partner for Sky Switch Inc. of USA. With a primary focus on technology and innovation, Mitko Skyswitch provides solutions in information technology related products and services with a specialisation in communication solutions and consultancy services. However, the subsidiary is more than just the “IT arm” of Mitko Group. With research and development teams in place, Mitko Skyswitch has already begun working on homegrown solutions that would in tandem with its sister company, Mitko Construction. Embracing some of the latest technological trends in both the local and international markets, Mitko Skyswitch is committed to delivering the ultimate live-in experience for homeowners.

Mitko Homes

Having commenced operations in 2006, Mitko homes has expanded into several sectors and geographical areas where the company has been involved in many projects with local developers. In 2017 Mitko Homes ventured out to develop its very own residential apartments ‘Bricksgate’, a 56-unit twin luxury tower apartment complex in Wattala, Sri Lanka. The project aims to construct an urban community offering the best of both worlds based on the shared values of family, security, recreation and well-being.

Mitko Homes Australia

Proving his visionary leadership of Chairman Muditha Peiris, a civil engineering operation in Australia was established in 2014 in Melbourne in collaboration with a leading Australian partner. This is the first overseas operation of Mitko to be launched. Mitko is proud to establish business in Australia, one of the largest predicted economies in Asia in 2030. Mitko will grow with the promising upward trend in the housing market is Australia though with a likely temporary pullback due to COVID-19. Mitko Homes Australia would play an important supportive role in the property market with initial focus on Melbourne market. It has already completed its first project, the Boutique Town houses at Reservoir and after its first experience is expected get involved in multiple projects.

Mitko Gateway Abroad (MGA) – The International University hub

Mitko Gateway Abroad (MGA) is the International University hub established in 2019 operating as an independent overseas education consultant in Sri Lanka, working in collaboration and partnership with Gateway Abroad India. The International University Hub includes reputed universities from United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Ireland, USA, France, Switzerland, and Poland with many pending negotiations with many more leading universities. MGA will assist the students in numerous ways to select the best Universities based on their needs. In addition the company will support in course selection, admission and scholarship guidance, visa formalities, and also in obtaining educational loans
