As the first subsidiary to come alive under the group umbrella in 2006, Mitko International has proven to be one of the most successful ventures of the group. What began as an ambition engineered towards metal mining, Mitko International presently owns 25-acres of mining land in Kotadeniyawa and Meerigama, located approximately 60 km from Colombo and holds a production capacity that exceeds 200MT of crushed limestone in various sizes, armour rocks and spalls.

The company operates under the license of the Geological Department and Environment Authority and is one of the key building suppliers for many road construction and highways in Sri Lanka. In addition, Mitko International also concentrates their attention towards concrete and asphalt aggregates, road-base and quarry dust.

Mitko Constructions has served and continues to cater to many leading clientele including the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd, SriLankan Airlines Ltd., CML/MTD, Sierra Road Engineering Company, Sun-Ready Mix, SD & CC, Maga Neguma, Daya Constructions, Sierra Networks, Nethmi Metal Crushers, National Housing Development Authority and the State Engineering Corporation.

Having worked with many established and leading clients, Mitko is on par with Sri Lanka’s foremost entities in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry. The subsidiary continues to benefit from the projects undertaken by Mitko Constructions
